Winter Wedding at the Madison Hotel | Larisa and Dan

Larisa and Dan’s wedding day began at the Madison Hotel, where they had their bride and groom prep take place.  On this day, the weather was pretty rainy.  We had enough time to photograph their first look outside, and a few outdoor portraits.  By the time the bridal party came out, the rain ensued.  It became a mad rush to get the ladies inside before mother nature had her wait with the hair.   Once inside however, we continued to take some portraits of the bride and groom, along with the entire bridal party by the fireplace.  The one great thing about photographing a winter wedding at the Madison Hotel is the vast amount of locations to photograph some intriguing images.  I have photographed winter weddings at the Madison before, and they have always been excellent.  This venue has that special winter cozy feel couples are looking for.

After the portraits, these two made it official.  The ceremony space was stunning as usual.  The conservatory space is always very pleasing to the eye…and to the camera.  The conservatory space was also used for the wedding reception.  This space can be tricky with flash since it does have glass ceilings.  Being that I have photographed numerous weddings here however, this was not a concern.   Everyone had the time of their lives.  I am very grateful Larisa and Dan chose me to document their special day.   I hope everyone enjoys the images!
